The 2008 Aprilia RSV 1000 R Factory had its soul brought to life by a 998cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine with a fuel injection system feeding the pistons, delivering 139 hp at 9,500 rpm and 107 Nm (79 lb-ft) torque at 7,500 rpm.

As for stopping power, the bike’s wheels were fitted with two 320 mm brake discs married to four-piston radial Brembo calipers on the front and a 220 mm brake disc tied to a dual-piston radial Brembo caliper.
